One wedding in three parts

One Saturday in Cyprus

One saturday afternoon, Karin and I went to the grocery store, which of course is a fairly common event. However, what followed was not common at all, for us or anybody else.

When we finished buying groceries, Karin said she would drop me off to get my hair cut, and she would continue on home and put up the groceries. (I had been wanting and needing to get my hair cut for a couple of weeks, and I wasn't sure I would get there before they closed.)

About half an hour after she dropped me off, I felt much better - I had really needed that haircut! By this time, I had expected Karin to be back to pick me up. She wasn't back yet, so I went around the corner to visit a friend's sandwich shop. No luck, the friend closes up early on Saturdays. So I phoned Karin at home, and to my surprise she was still there. But she said she was just getting ready to come pick me up.
